For the past few weeks, I had been interviewing candidates for designer and developer positions. These are junior positions so I get mainly fresh school graduates and people with one to two years experiences.

My impression of the job seekers in Shanghai so far,

1. All are inappropriately or casually dressed. The men are total flop.
2. Most are ill-prepared to talk about skills and experiences
3. Most are usually late.
4. Many just do not turn up.
5. Many have resume that looked recycled from the wastebasket.
6. Some do not even have a resume
7. One even asked to have the crumpled, dog-eared resume back!
