As usual I was surfing around and clicked on a blogspot blog. The usual drill is,
- open the blogspot blog in another Firefox tab,
- copy the URL into a proxy,
- browse the site through a proxy.
A few minutes ago, something extraordinary happened, the blogspot sites loads!
Has China unblock all blogspot sites?
A quick check on WordPress.com, it is still blocked.
Or is there a crack in the great firewall?
The crack is stll there. More like someone has open the gate to let in the barbarians.

Proxy does help but is very slow. Also proxy does not work with some sites that requires login.

maybe would a web whacker/offline browser prog help?

ps: sorry i forgot.
i used to ping websites, check the IP, then enter the IP in the URL bar.
was able to untangle the official sites.
then again it depends on whether
1) you are allowed to view approved sites,
2) or if the proxy is working on a ban list.
