Gale force wind howls outside. Rain water forces its way through gaps in the sliding windows. Floor was flooded. Lucky router was salvaged and internet connection is still up.
Shanghai is not in the direct path of Matsa but is still close enough to feel the impact.
Except for a brief brush with typhoon in Hong Kong many years ago, this is my first direct encounter with nature’s fury.
